Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 July 2026
These terms govern your use of MoneyBits. Creating an account means you accept them.
1. Publisher
MoneyBits is published by Honoré Tomaka, sole trader (entreprise individuelle), 44 rue Gustave Scrive, 59110 La Madeleine, France. Contact: support@money-bits.com.
2. What the service is
MoneyBits is a personal budgeting app built on the 50/30/20 method. It lets you record accounts and transactions, sort spending into three buckets, and see monthly totals and trends.
MoneyBits extends Cashbah and shares its account and its data. One account gives access to both; deleting it removes your data from both.
3. What the service is not
MoneyBits is not a bank, not a payment service, and not a regulated financial institution. It holds no funds and executes no transaction. It initiates no bank connection of its own: any bank-linked account you see was connected in Cashbah.
The figures, forecasts and indicators it displays are informational. They are not financial, tax or investment advice, and decisions you take on the basis of them are yours.
4. Account
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
5. Beta
The Android app is distributed as a beta. It may contain defects, change without notice, and be interrupted for maintenance. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose — the app can export your transactions.
6. Price
MoneyBits is free during the beta. Should a paid plan appear later, existing users will be told in advance and no charge will be applied without explicit consent.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to access another user's data.
- Do not disrupt or overload the service, or circumvent its technical or security measures.
- Do not reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the service.
- Do not use it for unlawful purposes.
An account in breach of these rules may be suspended or closed.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its design, its brand and its code remain the publisher's property. The data you enter remains yours: you can export it at any time and delete it with your account.
9. Availability and liability
The service is provided as is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or of the accuracy of the figures displayed, which depend on the data entered. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect damage, loss of profit, or any financial decision taken on the basis of the app. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Termination
You may stop using MoneyBits and delete your account at any time (see deleting your account). The publisher may close an account in breach of section 7, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice and the ability to export your data.
11. Personal data
Handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes and governing law
These terms may change; the date at the top reflects the current version and material changes are announced in the app. They are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, French courts have jurisdiction. Consumers may also use the European online dispute resolution platform.
